I would like to say how impressed my family and I were with your restaurant , we visited as a large group of 17 for our daughter’s birthday and everything was perfect . Warm welcome, quick efficient service , the guys serving us couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome (especially the young lad - sorry didn’t catch his name) , everything was correct (which is tricky with a big group) they made extra effort to get all the kids food out first. Offered to take pictures for us. The food was hot, fresh and tasty. Great value for money too. It was an absolute pleasure to visit, thank you so much. We will be back :-) highly recommend a visit

Excellent quality fish and chips. A great, lively restaurant on the upper floor if you want a sit down meal. Staff are really helpful and friendly. Proper chunky chips and fish cooked to perfection with the right amount of crispy batter on the fish. They also have chicken, pies and other items on the menu if you want something different 👍

Another great meal this evening. The fish was really fresh with a perfectly crispy batter, the chips were non-greasy, and the sausage was lovely. The staff provided excellent service. Highly recommended!

Third of what will be a regular experience I expect. Photos from the most recent two visits. I usually arrive to take away on the earlier side and during the week mostly around 6pm. Orders are taken promptly and accurately. Potions are of a nice size - not too big. The batter is always crisp and the chips are well cooked with not many small bits. I can also recommend the curry sauce. Service ranges from very quick to good (if they have to cook something for my order it has always arrived quickly and the need for such had been explained while ordering and before payment). Very happy - worth the drive. Free parking nearby always a bonus.

After what was a really disappointing experience with using this takeaway last Friday (tiny portions of chips and nothing else on our family order left at 8pm) , they truly made up for it this evening! The team went above and beyond this evening and served myself and my lovely nan with their gluten free chips (after their gluten free time had ended five minutes before) Thank you all for your kindness

Stunningly good fish and chips at a bargain price. Pukka pies also served. Restaurant is upstairs, it isn't fancy, but a really great place. I last came here 20 years ago, and if anything, it is better. No greasy chips here!
